Editing Feedback

We showed our video to the class to get their feedback on everything before we completed our video. Overall it was very positive, it seemed to go down well with everyone and they enjoyed it. The issues that were brought up were things that needed minor tweaks which we will carry out in our final edit. They said that there were scenes that went on for a few seconds too long which did not fit in with the upbeat pace of the video. They said that some of the light leaks were a little intense whereas some were barely even noticeable. Some people were confused as to whether the characters left their places because of the time or because of something else and suggested we make this more clear. We then explained that we wanted to leave the video more ambiguous rather than a music video that spoon feeds the viewer. This is what makes the viewer keep on watching, the characters never make it clear where they're all going and it is this kind of enigma that makes indie and alternative music videos successful.
